I still think Biutiful is going to win Best Foreign Film, but I could be completely wrong.
We shall see. I still think the Academy showed some guts in putting “Dogtooth” on the shortlist.
For the documentary category, I think “Waiting for Superman” is the one to beat. Davis Guggenheim (“An Inconvenient Truth”), teachers struggling to make a difference. Oscar bait. “Restrepo” might have a good shot, though.
